And ignore the rules of proportion - you can throw a kimono over a maxi dress. And you can wear a full length kimono over a short dress.

Crochet and open-weave lace are both beautiful and very bohemian.
Break the conventional rules of wearing lace 'lady like' and give it a bad ass kick. Wear it with distressed denim, a glowing tan and messy braids and top knots.
